The Maharashtra Women A team secured the Bronze medal at the recently concluded MPL 20th National Team Chess Championship for Women which was held in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. The team consisted of WIM Sakshi Chitlange, WIM Aashna Makhija, WIM Mrudul Dehankar, WFM Bhagyashree Patil and Vishwa Shah. This is the second consecutive year in which Maharashtra has won the Bronze medal at the National Team Chess Championships for Women.
